A local move (big or small) is a move within 0-100 miles radius. It is also called intra-state move (if moving within the same state).

The charges on local moves (especially in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut & Florida), are normally by the hour. The hourly rate charge includes the amount of movers in a crew and a truck. The truck size is determined by the size or amount of your shipment. Time starts upon arrival at place of origin and time stops upon last item being unloaded at final destination. Customer must note time when movers started working and when job is completed. There is an additional charge added for travel time (one hour minimum is the standard industry charge).
